1. What is it?

A Product Placement Release is a legal agreement that allows a production company to feature a brand's product—along with any logos, trademarks, or packaging—in a film, TV show, or other audiovisual work. In return, the product owner gives permission for the production company to use the product in the content and related marketing, without seeking future approval or compensation. This agreement ensures that the production company has all necessary rights and won’t face future claims about the use of the product.
